Definition of Small Commercial Construction

Small Commercial Structures are defined as:

  • Nonresidential structures of 10,000 square feet or less and not more than 20 feet high.

  • Leasehold, rental units, or other units part of larger structures with 12,000 square feet or less and not more than 20 feet high.

  • Structures where the entire contract price of all construction work does not exceed $250,000.
